The ACFE Indonesia Chapter mourns the passing of James “Jim” D. Ratley, CFE, on August 24, 2025, at age 75. From ACFE’s beginnings, Jim helped build the programs, publications, and standards that shaped our global profession. A gifted teacher and leader, he inspired thousands — including many in Indonesia — to commit their careers to fighting fraud.
To honor Jim’s legacy, our Chapter will observe a moment of silence at upcoming events, invite members to share memories in the official ACFE Community remembrance, and publish a tribute page highlighting his impact in Indonesia. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the ACFE community worldwide.
